Today, walking pilgrimage routes is becoming increasingly popular. In 2019 15,780 walkers completed the Camino Ingles which offers one of the most authentic Camino experiences. Whilst providing all the modern tourist services the route is far less trodden and commercialised than the well-known and much busier Camino Frances.

For comprehensive information about the route together with practical advice see the website (www.caminoingles.gal.en/) which even includes a slow walking itinerary complete with accommodation suggestions.
